One Fabulous Night

The opening reception for James Brown: Preserving the Legacy was, to sum it up in one word, fabulous.

There was an out- of- this- world planetarium show created by Dr. Elizabeth Mayo, the Stanback's Planetarium Manager, groovy music by the SCSU Percussion Ensemble, directed by James Orlick, and fantastic vocals by Sherman Brown. There was good food, a wine tasting provided by Greg Waters of Piggly Wiggly, and of course, never before seen items from the James Brown estate, tastefully curated by the Stanback's Director, Ellen Zisholtz.
